Executive Essentials is a three-day, in-person intensive for executive directors and CEOs in their first five years of leadership navigating complexity, growth, and accountability in real time.
This program, held April 22-24, 2026, is designed for leaders who are not looking for theory alone, but for space to think clearly, learn from peers, and leave with tools they can actually use. Across three full days, participants engage with core leadership competencies while also making time for reflection, connection, and honest conversation about what leadership really requires right now.
Hosted in downtown Chicago, Executive Essentials brings together experienced facilitators, practitioners, and a small cohort of leaders for deep learning, shared problem-solving, and relationship building.

How to Apply
Executive Essentials is offered through an application process designed to create a thoughtful, engaged cohort:
Complete the online application by Tuesday, March 10.
Share information about your leadership role, organizational context, and what you hope to gain from the experience.
Submit a brief letter of support from your board chair or other member of your executive committee.
The letter should confirm awareness of your application and support for your full participation across all three days.
Pay the $250 refundable application fee.
The application fee supports the review process and confirms commitment. Applicants who are not selected will receive a full refund.
Application review and notification.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected participants will be notified following the review period.
Space is limited, so early applications are encouraged.
