Executive Essentials is a three-day, in-person leadership intensive for executive directors and CEOs leaders navigating complexity, growth, and accountability in real time.

This program is designed for leaders who are not looking for theory alone, but for space to think clearly, learn from peers, and leave with tools they can actually use. Across three full days, participants engage with core leadership competencies while also making time for reflection, connection, and honest conversation about what leadership really requires right now.

Held in downtown Chicago, Executive Essentials brings together experienced facilitators, practitioners, and a small cohort of leaders for deep learning, shared problem-solving, and relationship building.

  • Executive Essentials takes place April 22-24, 2026. Each day begins at 9:00 AM, with exact daily schedules provided to registered participants.

  • This is a fully in-person experience. The design relies on relationship-building, shared presence, and facilitated conversation that cannot be replicated online.

  • The cohort is intentionally small to support meaningful discussion, connection, and individualized learning.

  • Yes. Executive Essentials is designed as a three-day experience, with each day building on the last. Full participation is expected.

  • Yes. Connection is built throughout the program, including informal moments, shared meals, and a closing happy hour on Friday.

  • The READI Knowledge Exchange is a facilitated learning space focused on equity, accessibility, power, and organizational culture. It centers shared learning rather than prescriptive frameworks and draws on participant experience alongside Morten Group’s equity practice.

  • Registration includes:

    • All sessions across three days, including facilitated conversation time

    • Program materials

    • Certificate of completion

    • Closing happy hour

    Travel and lodging are not included.
