The Three G's of Board Service: Give, Get, or Get Off
When: Wednesday, April 5th, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Where: North Park University, Chicago, IL

About this Session: Which one of the three G's applies to your board? It may sound harsh but when board members agree to serve, they should be committing to being ambassadors and fundraisers. Your board is the greatest resource for unrestricted and untapped dollars. Is it time to clarify expectations and more effectively manage board contributions, fundraising and accountability? It doesn't have to be awkward conversation, but a conversation must take place. From time to time, a refresher is necessary. While we all intuitively understand that more financial support equals greater impact, the road to 100% board giving can be a winding one. This session will focus on strategies for organizations that have a give or get board policy or are ready to implement one with their board. Included in this session is a follow-up coaching call with the presenter.

Who Should Participate: Board chairs, executive directors and development staff
