Hourly Research Assistant, Community Engagement and Data Collection Organizer

About the Position
Chicago Black Gay Men’s Caucus (Caucus) and Morten Group, LLC are seeking a part-time staff member to conduct research assistance, provide outreach, engage the community, and collect data for the Prosperity Project. This position will begin as soon as possible. Training will be provided.
Prosperity Project, a new Caucus initiative with funding from the Chicago Department of Public Health, is poised to conduct an assessment of the Chicago-area population of Black same gender loving men as part of a community-led process to develop structural intervention(s) addressing social-structural determinants of health.
The hourly position (at $20.00 per hour) will include assuring completion of surveys and assisting with outreach efforts at events. Position is ideal for someone with flexibility and seeking short-term additional income at 15-20 hours per week through September. Applicants familiar with and interested in working with Black-identified and LGBTQ+ communities are preferred.
